    German Language Summer Course at the University of Wuerzburg

    A four-week language course at one of Germany’s oldest universities – learn German, experience German culture, find new friends and create unforgettable memories

    Improve your German skills in small groups with experienced teachers. Our language classes (levels A1-C1) are communication-oriented and will help you to efficiently improve your German skills. Deepen your language skills in everyday situations with our classes on regional studies and German culture as well as our excursions, trips and guided tours and many other leisure activities.

    Learn the German language at one of Germany’s oldest universities – over the last 600 years, the University of Wuerzburg has built a tradition of excellence in research and teaching. Amongst its renowned scientists, the University of Wuerzburg has fostered the talents of 14 Nobel laureates.

    Discover Wuerzburg, a lively student city in the heart of Germany. Learn about Wuerzburg’s architectural heritage  - such as the Residence Palace, which is a Unesco World Heritage site. Experience Wuerzburg’s mediterranean flair and enjoy its location on the romantic course of the Main river. The city offers a variety of cultural, sports and leisure activities.

    Enjoy your summer in the picturesque region of Unterfranken (Lower Franconia) and get a taste of its world-famous wines and renowned regional cuisine.

    Key facts at a glance:

    Course date: 1-30 August 2018

    Classes: 100 teaching units (45 minutes each)

    Course fee: 648.00 Euros (excl. accommodation)

    The course fee includes:

    • language programme
    • course material
    • at least two day trips and guided tours
    • final exam and certificate
    • support by the course coordinators

    Accommodation: A limited number of rooms is available in student dormitories and external guest houses. The accommodations can vary in furnishing, location, and price. The rent is approx. 400-480 EUR.

    Participation Requirements:

    • minimum age 18 years
    • valid registration at a university
